More about this scene
The most striking feature of Kilnsey village in Upper Wharfedale is the great hooded cowl of Kilnsey Crag, rising beyond the whitewashed Tennant Arms Hotel. The crag shows the limit of the last glaciation of Wharfedale, its lip marking the depth of the glacier.
