King's Lynn, High Street 1908

More about this scene
Jermyn and Pery's considerable premises dominate this busy High Street scene. Their display is spectacular, with hats, parasols, curtains and bolts of cloth tumbling out on to the pavement in a visual feast. It would surely have traken a staff of full-time window-dressers to maintain. The business was later taken over by Debenham's.
