I worked here in 1969/70. I think I remember you, Muriel! I remember Vidi bread at teatime, cockroaches everywhere; two spinster sisters who were in charge and a lady calkeMzrgaret, I think, who had a cleft palate. I left along with Heidi & Suzi from Switzerland and Klasien from The Netherlands so we could embark on a month-long hitchhiking tour of the UK. 40-odd years later, I'm back in Dunoon for a short break and went to find the building. It's gone, apart from the old wall - demolished to make room for a lovely housing development called Dhalling Park. Memories from Pam.
Hello Pam the only Pam I remember had a room next to mine and owned a guitar. Was that you ? If so I have a photo with you on it sent to me from Australia
Pam. I’ve written to you after seeing your letter. Can’t see where I can send it so hope you’ve got it!

Was in the room next to me and owned a guitar?
Hi Pam and Muriel, I have sent a message using contact user but I am going to post here as well. I am looking for information on a Margaret at this address in 1964. I think she may have been from Leeds and working there as a maid. I believe she may be my biological grandmother. Can anyone who knows about her please get in touch with me? I understand she may be passed now but I am just looking for information on who she was. Thanks so much. Daisy
