The Walled Garden In Langley Vale
A Memory of Langley Vale.
As a child in the mid sixties I remember that during the summer holidays my mother would take my sisters and myself for picnics occasionally in the walled garden that was at Langley Vale and also remember how we loved the peace and quiet within those walls. As an adult I mentioned this place to my then partner back in the mid 1980's as she didn't know of it at that time but was similarly taken by its tranquility. I went back to Langley Vale again recently to take some pictures of the place but for the life of me I could not find the walled garden. Has this since been demolished as I do recall the brickwork had definitely seen better days on my last visit, or was I looking in the wrong place?
Can anyone enlighten me please?
