Happy Farming Days

A Memory of Lenwade.

I have beautiful childhood memories of Lenwade as I was born there and lived there for 4 years. Lots of my family lived here and my father worked at Banhams farm from age 14. Mum and Dad got married at the lovely church in Lenwade. My aunties uncles and cousins lived there, and nan and grandad. My sister went to the village school. Later in years, after we left, we would visit most weekends. We still go for walks along the old railway line - it is so nostalgic for me. Flowers, meadows, farm animals, old trains and all the family that were there. Does anyone else have these happy memories.
