More about this scene
Visitors enjoy the broad prospects from the pleasure gardens on the Great Orme. Today, the cable car mounts the giant promontory of the Great Orme to the Summit Hotel through the centre of the picture; the only way up used to be a tramway, built in 1903. Crowds in summer flocked to attend the open-air services at the tiny church of St Tudno on the summit.
