Christmas Deliveries: If you placed an order on or before midday on Friday 19th December for Christmas delivery it was despatched before the Royal Mail or Parcel Force deadline and therefore should be received in time for Christmas. Orders placed after midday on Friday 19th December will be delivered in the New Year.
Please Note: Our offices and factory are now closed until Monday 5th January when we will be pleased to deal with any queries that have arisen during the holiday period.

My Mothers Childhood
A Memory of Llangyfelach.
My mother was born 29th of March 1909 in hut no.8 Pontllan.llangyfelach.R. D. .Her father was a railway blacksmith so I can only assume it was a rail line camp for the great western railway during construction to the coal mines around that area.I believe she went to school at pontlliw along with her sister. She had eight stepbrothers I understand all coalminers. My mothers birth name was Doris May Evans and her father and mothers christian names were Samuel and Maud respectively . Maud was married before, her name then was Burgess and I think mums stepbrothers were Burgess and possibly lived in Pontlliw. My mothers birth was registered by Mary E.
