More about this scene
The early 14th-century tower of St Teilo's, Llantilio Pertholey stands squarely among the surrounding trees. It is believed that there has been a place of worship on this site since the early 6th century. Beyond it stands the Holy Mountain, Skirrid Fawr, on the summit of which there was once a Roman Catholic chapel dedicated to St Michael.
