More about this scene
Green Park, situated opposite the north end of Buckingham Palace, was a burial ground for nearby St James's Palace at a time when it was a hospital, but since Tudor times this has been parkland. Here, winter riders are seen on the ride which extends from Rotten Row in Hyde Park.
