A Memory of Lower Swell.

i remember lower swell because it is where i came from i was born 1974 and i lived there with my mum and my brother and nan and gramp till the age of 11 when we moved to stow i went to st marys as did my brother, my mum and my aunt and 2 uncles who where born there except 1 uncle , my gramp and his 3 rothers where born there alsomy old house belonged to my great grandparents ivo and kate taylor who are now buried in the local church yard also along with ivo parents, my grandparents robert and hilda taylor also 1 of my gramps brothersand my brother are buried there so it is still my local church i call it the family church as most of us was christened there my aunt and uncle were married there and sadly family members buried there, lower swell is in my blood and always will be....

Hi Michelle, I m the co-ordinator of the Stow Clifford family tree group, and I have a family of Taylors, on our tree there is George Taylor b 1851 Stow/Wold married 1887Stow/Wold Sarah P Clifford b 1864 Stow/Wold, they had 8 children, a daughter Florence Maria Taylor b 1891 married Jesse Taylor, they hdf 4 children, a son Ivor Taylor b 1912 Stow/Wold . Hello no sorry might be relations but my great gramp only had 1 sister Isabella and parents were Albert taylor and fanny hathaway
