More about this scene
This is the A631, although it does not look like an A-class road. The telephone box has gone, and so have the telegraph poles and wires. The post office has moved, and is no longer in the far distance on the right of the road. The annexe sideways to the road has gone, and the house standing back from the road has been replaced by a bungalow. One of the two houses on the right, Highfield View, now has a porch. The wartime airfield was over to the left.
