This photograph was taken from the Queen's Hotel and looking across Piccadilly towards Market Street, where we can see Lewis's Department Store. In the foreground is a poster advertising the Royal Jubilee Exhibition, which was opened by the Prince of Wales and ran from May to October 1887.
