More about this scene
This area has changed quite a lot, and has adapted to the extra traffic that has occurred during the past fifty years. The space in front of the shops is now a car park, and the traffic island has shrunk. The 17th-century Bull pub (centre left) is still there, as is the Town Hall, but two banks now stand along that side of the street.
