Christmas Deliveries: If you placed an order on or before midday on Friday 19th December for Christmas delivery it was despatched before the Royal Mail or Parcel Force deadline and therefore should be received in time for Christmas. Orders placed after midday on Friday 19th December will be delivered in the New Year.

There are enough clues to suggest that the fair-haired boy on the left of the photograph is me.
My mother, brother and myself are walking home to School Lane which is at the top of the Talbot yard (the pub on the left hand side that they are nearing).

Having been born in Market Harborough during WW2 and spending much of my formative years growing up and playing in the south of the town, I got to wondering how many of us are still alive that can remember the early beginnings of the Southern Estate, the excavations for new sewage piping on Northampton Road & Nithsdale Avenue to support all the new houses to be built there? Who still remember the old army vehicles that were parked in a field close to where Stuart Road begins just off Nithsdale Avenue and which we children used to play on. I still remember much of this period - are there any of my old play-mates with similar reminiscences still around. I'd love to compare notes.
