Catherine Sturman

A Memory of Marske.

Am trying to find out more about above-noted Lady.
It seems she married Frederick Jepson in 1914. He went off to WW1, as a Trench-digger.

When he came back, it is unknown what happened to Catherine. But in 1920, he married Eva Gosling.

There is still a Sturman family in Redcar, owns an Antique shop.

My grandfather was often in the area, as he used to go to the racetrack. There must have been some conversation with the folks, about the whereabouts of Fred, because someone snaped a pic of him in Redcar. I still have that photo.

My Aunt Connie was born in 1920 and my father in 1925. He never stayed around too long to be a father to either of them. Eva (my nana), thought she had seen the last of him, when she was asked to go to Poole Hospital in Nunthorpe, in 1960, where he died of Diabetes related diseases.

Does anyone know of the Sturman family, or if I can contact anyone in her family.

Evelyn Jepson.
