More about this scene

The tower may be 13th century, with the needle spire added by the 15th century. The clock was given in 1907 by General Jago Trelawny after a serious illness. The lychgate is a memorial to Jane Darell Jago, erected by her sister and brothers in 1899. This family, from Coldrenick in the parish, has a number of memorials in and around the church.

Hi I was also born in 1950. I was baptised in Menheniot. My parents. Ken and Barbara Jarvis were with my grandparents Elsie and Charles Jarvis. I have some photos of them at Coldrenick House. They spoke of Mrs Trelawney. I am going through photos as I think there are also some of Mrs Trelawnet but I haven't found them yet!
