Going To The Fitbaw
A Memory of Methil.
My name is Bill Brown I stayed in Kirkland Walk, number 25 in the Curled Sack. Me and my wee brother and our next door neighbours (the Fechkins - no spelt right a think), anyway we used to go down Ossian Crescent and jump through gardens to get to the back wall at Aberhill primary school and climb the fence to watch the best team in Fife; at the time our own East Fife. With Berty Miller skipping up the wing, it was great a wee program for the collection and a Lightbody's pie... them were the days.
