More about this scene
The inside of the church looks rather different today. The nave walls have been plastered and whitewashed and the chancel ceiling embellished. Most obviously, a rood screen, erected in memory of Harold Woollcombe-Boyce, who died on active service during the Great War, now spans the chancel arch.
