More about this scene
Holy Trinity overlooks the north end of the High Street, although it stands a little apart as though distancing itself from temporal affairs. Besides this magnificent rose window, the church has a splendid 14th-century south transept, intricate vaulting beneath the tower, and some interesting brasses, including a pair of shrouded corpses.
