Figgs Marsh

A Memory of Mitcham.

Can anyone remember a farm "show" being held on Figgs Marsh? I think it would have been in the 50s, I remember there were cattle and bulls in pens and people being taught how to milk cows.

I remember this very well, a great experience.
The thing that sticks in my mind was the big trailer
giving out glasses of fresh milk, still my favourite cold drink to this day.
