A Memory of Mobberley.
I was sent to MBS in 1972 because i refused to go to school. All i did in my early days there was abscond. Hated the place!!! Full of bullies, if you were small or timid in Mobberley you were a target.
The staff were even worse too.
Used to hate the nights coming round, got many a slap with a dap, still don't know why he had it in for me.
The whole place was an endurance exercise in survival for many of the lads there, in fact quite a scary place for a small boy.
The physical abuse was bad enough but sexual abuse was also going on there (although it never happened to me).
Nope!! no good memories of Mobberley boys School here...hated the place. There was nothing good about it, and i'm sure many others feel the same.
