My Childhood In Moore

A Memory of Moore.

i was born and brought up in Moore this is a picture of the old post office that was run by my aunt and uncle Jim and Josie Woods ,the little boy is there son Maurice who is my cousin Margaret Evans is with the dog and i believe the other little girl is Linda Callon , my grandmother lived three doors down from the post office where my aunty still lives I have lots of memories of a charmed childhood My maiden name was Judith Carter my uncle Jack was the local blacksmith my father and eldest brother played cricket for Moore and Daresbury my mother was born in the old farmhouse opposit the post office MARGARET Evans taught me how to ride a two wheel bike in the paddock in the farmhouse that my grandparents use to own
