More about this scene
Mudeford is a pleasant fishing village at the mouth of Christchurch harbour, though the waters around are now full of leisure sailors. Early visitors included the poet Coleridge and the novelist Sir Walter Scott, both friends of the hospitable local Member of Parliament.
