A Memory of Muirtown.

I live in Dochgarroch and everythings kinda the same I think, I am trying to find out the history of the place, could anyone give any useful information? The post office is still there and the shop isn't, it used to be open morning, noon and night, but they changed it to a restaurant!
Is there any information you can give me?
