Neath, New Street c.1965

More about this scene
A Mini, a Wolseley, a Ford Capri and Cortina, a Morris Traveller and others all suggest the age of the motor car is finally with us; this street is dominated by the motor vehicle. Sander's tobacco shop is typical of its time, when this sort of business used to flourish but is very rare now. Wandering into one of these specialist establishments one was almost overwhelmed by the sweet aromas of the tobacco products on sale.
