I remember Kenny's the news agent plus a Martins There were 2 chemists one at the beginning of the parade and Boots. Two fish and chip shops, one that sold wet fish. There used to be a little card shop next to a strange place that sold shoes and boots that later became an office. There was a fine fayre along with a maypole and Co-op plus another small supermarket. 3 butchers, 2 dry cleaners, a record shop, Woolworths and a shoe shop....
