In Bury Road is the Memorial Garden, formerly part of the Severalls. The grey granite war memorial has the names of the fallen on the base, an inscription on the column and is surmounted by an everlasting flame. The names of the 27 people who were killed in the 1941 bombing raid are about to be added to the memorial.
