More about this scene
This strange building - St Michael's Church - was consecrated on 4 December 1319; it originally had 'of the Rock' as a suffix. It has been rebuilt since. Although we have a precise date for the buildiing, its purpose seems a little more obscure. Brentor was once an active volcano.
