More about this scene

The parish church of St Mary is here seen under scaffolding. The tower is 15th-century, but most of the remainder of the building was rebuilt in the 1850s. The interior has many interesting monuments to the L'Estrange family, who owned nearby Hunstanton Hall. The writer P G Wodehouse was a friend of the family and a frequent visitor to the Hall.
