More about this scene

Although technically a town (it received a charter in 1280), Over never really developed, and in 1894 was recognised as 'the smallest municipality in the country'. Robert Nixon was born near here. On 22 August 1485 he fell into a trance, and afterwards said that a great battle had taken place and that there was now a new king. The Battle of Bosworth had taken place that very day. There is a bury roundabout on this site today.
