More about this scene
This 15th-century slate-hung house is on the North Quay and was once the Guild House of Padstow's merchants. Its owes its name to a legend about a subterranean passage linking it with the monastery that stood on the site of Prideaux Place, the castellated mansion of the Lord of the Manor.
