More about this scene
This is a typical Suffolk brick tower mill with four patent shuttered sails and a fantail. The mill was used as the subject of a TV interlude film in 1950s, and was watched by millions of viewers. It has been owned by the same family since the 1880s; conserved in working order, it is privately owned and open to visitors by appointment.
