More about this scene
Built in 1581 for the Paston family, this is the only complete structure from the Paston estate still standing. Constructed by the same craftsmen that built Trunch and Knapton churches, the barn is,160ft long, 24ft wide and about 60ft from floor to roof apex. Its historical significance is beyond question, and its restoration and maintenance is an ongoing process.
