My grandfather owned the scrapyard in hawthorne grove and we lived opposite. We also had to move when they were knocking down the houses and were moved into Kent towers. I went to Malcolm school in oak field road. Would love to get in contact with anyone who may remember my family or myself, laurence willis (laurie).
