I was born 1947 in 64 Church St Penrhiwceiber. My sister and I used to spend the best part of the summer holidays there with grandfather Albert Charles Webb and Aunt Hilda Thomas. Is there any one who knows when Albert Charles moved from Bristol to S Wales? I am researching the family tree and this is one piece of information I am unable to find! The house is still owned by a family member.
Hi, my dad was born in Penrhiwceiber because his dad FREDERICK WILLIAM ELLISON was brought up there by the JAMES family, we believe after his father died. Does anybody have these people in their past? I can't find them on the 1911 census, and don't know anything about the JAMES family. Here's hoping.
Hi. My mum was born in Penrhiwceiber in 1912 and her name was Treasure Young. At some stage in her life she moved to London, married, and I was born in 1951. Does anybody know of the Young family living in Penrhiwceiber? Either in the early 1900's or present day descendants? I would be grateful for any information. Thanks Tom Morton
