More about this scene

We are looking inland from near Pentewan, with the St Austell hills in the far distance. The road on the left curves past the houses of Nansladron, where the fields in the valley floor are now caravan and camping parks. The line of the Pentewan Railway is among the trees on the right-hand side of the valley.
