Christmas Deliveries: If you placed an order on or before midday on Friday 19th December for Christmas delivery it was despatched before the Royal Mail or Parcel Force deadline and therefore should be received in time for Christmas. Orders placed after midday on Friday 19th December will be delivered in the New Year.

Please Note: Our offices and factory are now closed until Monday 5th January when we will be pleased to deal with any queries that have arisen during the holiday period.

Ramsey attained early importance with the foundation of its abbey in 969. It survived for around five hundred years until Henry VIII's dissolution of the monasteries in the 16th century. These days, Ramsey is one of the smallest towns in England to have its own mayor, and all that remains of the abbey is one gatehouse.

Mum and Dad (Roy and Joan) were the landlords of the Rose and Crown which is the white building in the middle of this picture. I was 14 at the time and Sarah my sister was 6. The pub also had a birthday while we were there 300 years (built 1661). The living accommodation was basic and the toilet was an outside shed and bucket but there was a flush job for the customers across the yard, I used that! We didn't ...see more
