Rawmish Crags

A Memory of Rawmarsh.

We used to go ont crags on nature rambles from Rosehill School.  At weekend it were our battlefield, we used firebrecks as trenches and fought WW2.  If we got beat we'd run tot roman banks and ambush others.

Spent many days playing in the Craggs. Have an idea that you and your mate made me climb one side of the craggs while you both took shots at me with a catapult. One of you hit me in the head and you both panicked in case I told anyone / I never did! I was about 6years old! Ian Lines
