Reading, On The River Thames 1904

More about this scene
An interesting view from the south bank of the Thames looking east, before Christchurch Meadows on the left were made into a riverside park, and, more significantly, before Reading Bridge was built. It crossed the river in front of Tims Boatyard, the balconied and gabled building beyond the George Hotel sign.
