Here we see the extensive village green at Reeth, the largest village in Swaledale. Cars and buses are parked haphazardly on the green, which is surrounded by public houses such as the Black Bull (centre) and the King's Arms (right). In the background is the long profile and cliffs of Fremlington Edge, where chert was once mined.
