The antics of our cameraman has attracted the attention of a number of boys gathered round the white marble angel that stands in front of the gates to Hillside Gardens. In the gardens, and to the left of the statue, stands the obelisk erected to the memory of the town's dialect poets Margaret Lahee, Oliver Ormerod, Edwin Waugh, and John Trafford Clegg.
