Rock lies opposite Padstow (background) on the shore of the Camel estuary. Today it is a popular spot for the sailing fraternity, and the sailing club now occupies the area of corrugated shacks on the left. The black Rolls Royce is common in Frith's pictures from this time on - perhaps it belonged to the photographer.

Myself and my 3 sisters Ginine, Chantelle and Michaela all used to go down to the Porthily Beach regularly with our mum and dad.
