More about this scene
The town of Romsey is known for its associations with two distinguished Englishmen. Admiral of the Fleet Earl Mountbatten of Burma and Lord Palmerston, Conservative Prime Minister during Queen Victoria's reign, both lived here. The town's War Memorial Park includes a 150-mm Japanese gun captured in Burma at the end of World War Two.
