My Time At Tylney Hall School

A Memory of Rotherwick.

Hi my name is Peter Hatch and I went to Tylney from West Mark probably in 1954 until 1957 .
My best friends at Tylney and still today are Peter Loxton and Leo Bonassera . Peter later changed his name to peter Dukes .
We got into a bit of trouble at Tylney which resulted in us getting the cane from Mr Kirby . And being banned from watching the movies but we did anyway from the back .
Peter Today lives in Derbyshire , Leo lives in France and I live in Australia .
Coming up to 80 in July been married three times and 5 children oldest 62 and youngest 19 it’s been fun ..
If anyone rembers please contact

Hi Peter, I went to Tylney when I was 11 or 12 in 1956/57 and I don't remember you but I did know Leo. He was always well dressed and was a decent person. I have been married just the once since 1968 and have a son and a daughter. My wife and I moved to Canada in 1970 and we live in Halifax, Nova Scotia. I wasn't too fussy about Tylney when I arrived so i took it on myself to "run away" but of course I got hauled back after having made it to London. By the time I left there in 1960 I was very unhappy to leave.
