More about this scene

Manor Road joins the High Street by the pyramid roofed mid-19th century house, The Forge, in the distance. To the right, is a small wing with the date 1852 over a Gothic-style stone window. Built as a schoolroom, it is now part of the house. Opposite are semi-detached early 1950s rural district council houses.
