More about this scene
The castle was originally ordered by Edward I, but it was finished in the custody of Reginald de Grey, Justiciar of Chester, in 1284. It was de Grey's descendents who provoked Glyndwr into rebellion just over 100 years later. The castle is now famous as an upmarket hotel specialising in medieval banquets.
