By this time, Mr Couper's shop is no more (see 85120), and the gates under the two figures are firmly closed. In this view we see pargetting with birds and plants on the projecting gable, and in the centre to the left of the drain pipe there is a single leg. This is almost certainly a trade sign, and as the toes are showing it is possibly that of a corn cutter, the early name for a chiropodist.
