The Monotype
A Memory of Salfords.
I came across this when I was hoping to find reference to the Royal visit by the Duke of York. Although I found a film about his visit to the Monotype works at Salfords unfortunately it isn't dated. However, my grandparents Henry ('Harry') Knight and Minnie lived in Dunraven Avenue for about 63 years. They started at No 12 but shortly after moved down to No2. This house is just about visible at the far end of the righthand row of houses in this photo. Happy memories of very many visits here.
