This little folly was built as a shelter where one could rest and look out onto the well-laid-out flowerbeds. It was erected in the early 1930s in concrete with limestone facing. Sad to say, it is in a state of disrepair owing to vandalism and neglect; the local history society are trying to have improvements made to the whole area.
