Christmas Deliveries: If you placed an order on or before midday on Friday 19th December for Christmas delivery it was despatched before the Royal Mail or Parcel Force deadline and therefore should be received in time for Christmas. Orders placed after midday on Friday 19th December will be delivered in the New Year.

More about this scene

The photographer looks across the cricket field towards Steine Road (that name again) with the old town and the dominating church of St Leonard to the left. The ground is now part of the playing fields of Seaford Head School and the buildings with two storeys of timber-railed verandahs have gone. Seaford is home to a number of private schools and has several golf courses, but the town has none of the sparkle and verve of, say, Eastbourne.

Cliff View House And Martello Tower
Cliff view house was a small school just behind the esplanade .It is now an old peoples home.It was what was known as a crammers, a place designed to push pupils through common entrance exam, It was 1973 and I was 12, it was hard being away from home , I remember many tearful nights.Also I remember great adventures on the downs, takeing lost golf balls down to the club, exploreing the old war ...see more

My Days At East Quinton School
I went to East Quinton School in September 1978 and was one of the first pupils to enter the school after it had been refurbished. Mr Smith was the headmaster at the time, I was then at the school three weekends out of four. It was a good time, we used to walk down to Cookmere Haven then up over the cliffs to Cookmere Lane. East Quinton School From Early 1973 1975
My name is Junior Mayhew and I also went to East Quinton School from early 1973-1975. The boarding school small pupil wise, but had lots of land to play on including two very large fields and an old farming area. East Quinton Boarding School
I went to a boarding school just ouside Seaford, called East Quinton. They were happy days as we used to walk from the back of the school to play in the trenches. I often wonder if they are still there.

Despite over 20 years’ work on the archive, these scans have still not been individually checked and may prove to be damaged, faded, or not of sufficient quality to ever be offered in our full product range. However, if you would particularly like to buy one of these please get in touch quoting the Frith negative number,(s) the town name and size of print you would like to buy. On receipt of your enquiry our archivist will check the scan and advise you if the quality is good enough.

What is an Album?

An album is a way to save a selection of Frith photos, maps and memories that are of interest to you.

Creating an Album enables you to make short lists and then make a final selection from the album. In particular it makes ordering things like calendars much easier - simply create an Album of the 12 photos you like and then use the Album when placng your order - our order process will give you this option.

You can create as many Albums as you want, so perhaps make one for your hometown, where you live now, where your parents live now etc.
